Message from Program Leadership

Dear Prospective Applicants,  

Welcome to our Endocrinology Fellowship program at the University of Mississippi! 

Our focus is to provide excellent clinical training in Endocrinology with a strong emphasis on teaching and education along with scholarly activities and research opportunities. Our institution is the only academic center in the state, and we receive referrals from all over Mississippi as well as neighboring states, which allows for a great variety of exposure to endocrine conditions. We offer a solid clinical training on a variety of endocrinopathies with dedicated subspecialty clinics and multidisciplinary conferences. We also have weekly board review sessions by the Program Director. The training atmosphere is collegial and friendly and we are looking for endocrine fellows who are highly motivated, energetic, and passionate. 

Jackson and nearby cities offer excellent southern cuisine and hospitality with many cultural and entertainment offerings. The area provides a centralized location for weekend trips to New Orleans, Memphis, Birmingham, and the beach.
